Sansui 1010 Stereo Receiver – Custom Cabinet, Blue LEDs

This Sansui 1010 is a vintage classic with a custom twist. Its cabinet has been sanded, refinished and given a light veneer-style finish (not the factory finish), and the dial now glows with new blue LED lighting. Underneath, it’s been DeoxIT serviced and thoroughly cleaned, so you still get that warm Sansui sound. It’s a great pick if you want something that doesn’t look like every other stock receiver.

Custom Cabinet

The cabinet has been sanded down and refinished with a custom painted/light veneer-style finish. This is not being represented as the receiver's original factory cabinet finish.

The goal of the restoration was to retain the classic Sansui appearance while giving the receiver a cleaner, lighter and more contemporary presentation.

Blue LED Lighting

New blue LED lamps have been installed, giving the tuner display a crisp, attractive appearance while maintaining the classic analog dial aesthetic.

Cosmetic Condition

Very clean overall presentation following the cabinet refinishing and thorough cleaning. As vintage equipment, some minor signs of age or previous use may remain.

Please review all photographs carefully. The photos are an important part of the description and provide the best representation of the custom cabinet finish and overall cosmetic condition.

Vintage With a Custom Touch

This is an excellent choice for someone looking for classic Sansui styling and sound without wanting another completely stock receiver. The combination of the light custom cabinet and blue illumination gives this 1010 a distinctive appearance while preserving the character of the original design.
