Offered here is a classic Sansui SR-525 direct-drive turntable, one of Sansui’s finest vintage turntables, known for its robust construction, stable direct-drive motor, and elegant woodgrain styling. Built in Japan during the golden age of hi-fi, the SR-525 delivers smooth, accurate playback and remains a favorite among vintage audio enthusiasts.
This turntable has been fully tested and is functioning properly with stable speed and smooth tonearm operation.
Included with the turntable is an original Sansui headshell fitted with a Sansui SN27 cartridge, making it an excellent foundation for a quality vintage vinyl system.
Please note that the tonearm is currently missing the installed lateral (side) balance weight. To help complete the original assembly, the sale includes:
One original OEM Sansui lateral weight assembly (missing the nylon suspension line)
One non-original replacement side weight
These original parts are included, giving the next owner the option to restore the tonearm using OEM components or use the aftermarket replacement.
