Offered here is a classic Sansui AU-505 integrated amplifier, a highly regarded early-1970s Sansui known for its warm, smooth and musical sound. Its compact size, excellent phono section and classic silver-face styling make it an attractive amplifier for both vintage collectors and vinyl-focused systems.
This AU-505 has been tested and is working well. The controls and switches have been thoroughly cleaned with DeoxIT, and the amplifier produces clean audio through both left and right channels. Inputs have been tested and are functioning properly.
The amplifier sounds excellent, delivering the rich, warm presentation for which this generation of Sansui equipment is particularly well known.
Please note: The Tape Monitor switch/lever is missing. This cosmetic/functional issue is clearly shown in the photos and should be considered when purchasing. The amplifier’s primary inputs and normal listening functions remain operational.
