Offered here is an outstanding vintage Japanese hi-fi combination featuring the Pioneer SA-8800 integrated amplifier paired with the Technics SL-1300 automatic direct-drive turntable.
Both components are original Japanese-market 100V AC models, making this an especially cohesive vintage system. Together they combine the powerful, detailed sound of the Pioneer SA-8800 with the excellent speed stability and convenient automatic operation of the Technics SL-1300.
Pioneer SA-8800 Integrated Amplifier
The SA-8800 has been tested and sounds great, producing strong, clean audio through both channels. The controls and switches have been serviced with DeoxIT for smooth and reliable operation.
Cosmetically, the amplifier is in good overall condition with minor wear on the top cover.
Technics SL-1300 Automatic Direct-Drive Turntable
The SL-1300 has been tested and is working as expected. Its automatic functions operate properly, including automatic start and return.
The controls and switches have been serviced with DeoxIT, speed is stable, tonearm operation is smooth, and the turntable sounds great.

Known Issue
The Pioneer SA-8800 has cosmetic issues on its cover. The amplifier otherwise sounds great and has been tested as described at 100v. The Technics’ dust cover is very scratched up and there are scuffs on the plinth, otherwise it functions great. The two paired together sound fantastic!
Important 100V Notice
Both components are Japanese-market 100V AC models. An appropriate 120V-to-100V step-down transformer must be used when operating this system from standard U.S. 120V household power. A transformer is not included.
