Offered here is a matching vintage Sansui stereo system featuring the classic Sansui 800 stereo receiver and the Sansui RA-500 Reverberation Amplifier.
The Sansui 800 is known for its warm, musical sound and excellent phono stage, while the RA-500 adds adjustable reverberation to create a larger, more spacious listening experience. Together they make a unique period-correct Sansui setup that is becoming increasingly difficult to assemble.
The Sansui 800 has been tested, the controls and switches have been cleaned with DeoxIT, and new LED dial lamps have been installed. The amplifier section performs well through auxiliary and phono inputs. Great for vinyl and DACs!!
The Sansui RA-500 has been tested and is working properly, with all front-panel controls operating smoothly. Please watch the video and review pictures prior to purchasing.
Please note: The FM tuner on the Sansui 800 does not receive stations, and the stereo indicator does not operate correctly. The FM tuner/MPX section will require service. This does not affect use of the receiver with AUX, Tape, or Phono sources.
